We are currently looking to onboard several Telecommunications Technicians for an upcoming project. ** This opportunity is contingent upon a successful contract award to OTS.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Systems Support:
The selected personnel will be responsible for tracking, inventory management, and scheduling for both classified and unclassified command VTC systems. This includes documenting, updating, and maintaining processes, policies, and instructions to assist command users with VTC functionalities.
Additionally, the technician will develop and manage the VTC schedule, coordinate necessary trouble tickets, and oversee repairs and upgrades to command VTC systems.
The technician will also report findings, trends, cost information, and analyses to the CNSP CIO/D-CIO and designated staff points of contact.
Command Phone Program Support:
The technician will handle tracking, inventory management, and trouble ticket coordination for command cell and landline phones. They will create procedures and documentation to promote user self-sufficiency and operational efficiency. Findings, trends, cost information, and analyses will also be reported to the CNSP CIO/D-CIO and designated staff points of contact.
Command Cable TV and Commercial Internet Support:
The technician will be responsible for tracking and recording invoices related to command cable TV and commercial Internet services.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in telecommunications and possess at least a Secret Clearance.
