Compassionate Caregiver for Residents

Location: Port Washington, WI
Available Shifts: 7am-7pm, 3.5 days a week, including every other weekend. PRN shifts are also an option.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support residents in their daily routines and requirements as instructed by the Wellness Director.
- Assist residents during meal times.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Help in transferring, moving, or repositioning residents as necessary.
- Gather information regarding residents' conditions and treatment plans from the caregiving team.
- Respond to resident calls promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in resident areas.
- Assist with changing bed linens and replenishing essential supplies.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Wellness Director or nursing supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid certification from the state of Illinois, in good standing.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Successful completion of a nursing assistant training program.
- Active status on the IDPH HCWR Registry.
- Capability to perform physical duties typical of CNA roles, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid CPR certification (recently expired certifications are acceptable; recertification will be provided).
