We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist PRN to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a Medical Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely test results to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Job Summary

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be empowered to exercise independent judgment and take ownership of your work, ensuring high-quality test results and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory procedures in assigned areas of licensure, requiring a high degree of theoretical knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Demonstrate skills in performing routine procedures, interpreting results, and taking appropriate actions when necessary.
  • Exercise judgment to determine the acceptability or rejection of results according to standards set for tests.
  • Ensure proper operation for high-quality test performance by performing daily maintenance and maintaining awareness of supply stock and replenishing methods.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist by ASCP.
  • A BS in Medical Technology or Baccalaureate degree plus completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Technology program.
  • Hospital laboratory experience preferred.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service).
