Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely results to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory procedures in assigned areas of licensure, requiring a high degree of theoretical knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Exercise independent judgment under moderate supervision, interpreting results and taking appropriate actions when necessary.
  • Organize workload to achieve efficiency and report results in a timely manner according to patient needs.
Qualifications

To be successful as a Medical Technologist, you must have:

  • Current registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist by ASCP.
  • A BS in Medical Technology or Baccalaureate degree plus completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Technology program.
  • Hospital laboratory experience is preferred.
