Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with producing discovery and cataloging discovery responses
  • Promptly contact assigned clients with developments on their cases
  • Draft correspondence to clients as needed
  • Submit pleadings and other court documents in Maryland and the District of Columbia
  • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to prepare for mediations, depositions, or trials
  • Operate within a team environment, actively collaborating with colleagues
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 360 and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Ability to manage time effectively and ensure deadlines and KPIs are met or exceeded
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • People Skills/Customer Service—A Family Law Associate should have excellent people skills with the confidence to approach clients with empathy
  • Proficiency in multitasking and adherence to processes
  • Ability to work in a team with other Family Law Associates, Paralegals, and Attorneys
