Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Methodist Hospitals. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation process, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and evaluations.
  • Evaluate patients' muscle strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, pain, skin integrity, and overall functional level.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and timely.
  • Educate patients and family members on rehabilitation techniques, exercises, and strategies for optimal recovery.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case reviews to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Supervise physical therapy students and aides as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
