Physical Therapist

As a Physical Therapist at Methodist Hospitals, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of conditions, including loss of upper and lower extremity function, balance, coordination, endurance, and pain.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and work collaboratively with patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and family members on proper techniques and strategies for managing their condition and promoting overall health and wellness.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case reviews to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and students as needed to ensure high-quality patient care and education.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; Master's degree preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice required.
• Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Knowledge of principles of growth and development across the lifespan and ability to work with patients of all ages.
