Qualifications Required:
  • Education: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid and unrestricted state licensure as mandated by Nevada.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of practice in speech-language pathology within a clinical or healthcare environment. Experience in home health is advantageous.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification; TB 2 Step or Quantiferon/CXR as necessary.
Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Delivering High-Quality Care: Assess, treat, and evaluate patients receiving speech and language therapy with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborative Communication: Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare team members to meet therapy objectives.
  • Accurate Documentation: Maintain precise documentation and uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Patient Education: Inform patients and families about therapeutic exercises, activities, and equipment usage.
  • Commitment to Learning: Engage in ongoing education and fulfill state-specific requirements.
  • Diverse Skill Application: Utilize your expertise in rehabilitative techniques, oral motor skills, and various assessment tools.
