Position Summary:

The role involves operating and managing a variety of trucks and vehicles with a gross vehicle weight exceeding 26,001 pounds, necessitating a Class A or Class B CDL license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transporting EZARC products and various cargo to designated locations.
  • Assisting in the loading and unloading processes alongside yard personnel.
  • Maintaining accurate driving and delivery logs, ensuring load contents align with manifest documents, and tracking working hours diligently.
  • Conducting thorough vehicle inspections before and after each journey; ensuring the vehicle is properly maintained and serviced, including refueling, oil changes, and tire pressure checks.
  • Adhering to the delivery schedule while taking appropriate rest breaks.
  • Implementing safety protocols when transporting hazardous materials.
  • Communicating effectively with dispatch as required.
  • Verifying that load contents correspond with manifest documentation.
  • Checking weather conditions and road reports prior to departure.
  • Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable.
  • Performing additional manufacturing tasks as assigned during non-driving periods.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Class A or Class B CDL license.
  • A minimum of three years' experience operating large trucks with heavy loads, including experience in urban environments with high traffic.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening, background investigation, and driving record assessments, along with annual driving record evaluations.
