Job Title: Food Scientist

Our client is a leading food manufacturer with over 50 years of experience in developing innovative frozen food products. We are seeking a skilled Food Scientist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Food Scientist to lead our product development efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating new products, conducting benchtop and pilot plant trials, and commercializing products from concept to launch.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new products and line extensions from benchtop to commercialization
  • Conduct benchtop and pilot plant trials to optimize product formulations and processes
  • Collaborate with external vendors to source ingredients and materials
  • Collect and analyze data to inform product development decisions
  • Communicate product information and technical support to internal and external customers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or Culinary Science
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing or R&D
  • Advanced working knowledge of product development flow and project management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
