Job Title: Food Scientist

Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a Food Scientist to join their team. As a key member of the R&D department, you will be responsible for developing new products and improving existing ones.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop new products and line extensions from bench top to commercialization
  • Coordinate with external vendors for ingredients and other material needs
  • Collect and enter formulation and yield information
  • Maintain information regarding ingredient specifications, formulas, processes, and analytical data
  • Report on sample status to team members and discuss any implications to the business
  • Assist management with project timelines and status updates
  • Provide product information and technical support to customers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or Culinary Science
  • Technical and application experience in food manufacturing environment
  • Formulation of new products
  • Benchtop, pilot plant, and commercial scale new product development
  • Continuous improvement experience
