Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a Food Scientist to join their team. As a key member of the R&D department, you will be responsible for developing new products and improving existing ones.
Responsibilities:- Develop new products and line extensions from bench top to commercialization
- Coordinate with external vendors for ingredients and other material needs
- Collect and enter formulation and yield information
- Maintain information regarding ingredient specifications, formulas, processes, and analytical data
- Report on sample status to team members and discuss any implications to the business
- Assist management with project timelines and status updates
- Provide product information and technical support to customers
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or Culinary Science
- Technical and application experience in food manufacturing environment
- Formulation of new products
- Benchtop, pilot plant, and commercial scale new product development
- Continuous improvement experience
