Executive Chef

Sorrel River Ranch Resort and Spa is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about cooking and has a strong desire to collaborate with our on-property farm and animal teams.

Responsibilities:

**Key Responsibilities**

• Operate basic kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, fryers, steamers, and kettles.

• Understand recipe measurements, requisition amounts, and portion sizes.

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants.

• Have a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food preparation and cooking.

• Maintain accepted standards of sanitation.

• Work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail and multitasking.

• Possess good supervisory skills and communicate effectively with cooks and front-of-house staff.

• Be skilled in time management and possess teaching and motivational skills.

• Provide exceptional service and be willing to go out of their way to accommodate guests and exceed their expectations.

**Requirements**

• Full-time flexible hours are required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours, bend, push, pull, and lift 50 lbs.

• Proficient in computer skills, including POS systems, Word, and Excel.

• Maintain a professional appearance and exhibit an excellent service attitude.
