Executive Chef

Sorrel River Ranch Resort and Spa is a luxury property located along the scenic Colorado River, surrounded by stunning buttes and mesas. Our 240-acre riverside oasis is 17 miles from Moab, 21 miles from Arches National Park, and 43 miles from Canyonlands National Park.

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Sorrel River Ranch Resort and Spa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. If you have a passion for fine dining, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

• Operate basic kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, fryers, steamers, kettles, and other equipment.
• Understand recipe measurements, requisition amounts, and portion sizes.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings.
• Culinary or apprenticeship program preferred.
• Working knowledge of food preparation and cooking fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation.
• Ability to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail and multitasking.
• Excellent supervisory and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours, bend, push, pull, and lift 50 pounds.
• Proficient in computer skills, including POS systems, Word, and Excel.
• Professional appearance and excellent service attitude required.
