About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating the cloud infrastructure that powers our customers' applications and services.

You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud infrastructure. This includes designing and implementing cloud architecture, configuring and managing cloud resources, and troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud architecture for our customers' applications and services
  • Configure and manage cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in our cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud infrastructure
Requirements
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
  • 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering experience
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language, such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
