Tetra Tech is excited to announce multiple openings for entry-level Transportation Engineers to work with an exceptional team of highway and traffic engineers, as well as transportation planners. Your Responsibilities:

  • Designing intersections and roadways from concept to completion
  • Creating horizontal geometry, profiles, and grading plans
  • Engaging in Complete Streets initiatives, green infrastructure, and pavement design, including highway signage
  • Preparing Temporary Traffic Control Plans
  • Conducting quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and specifications
  • Performing fieldwork and data collection in various environments

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • EIT certification is preferred
  • Basic to intermediate skills in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Familiarity with other civil engineering software applications (such as SignCAD, AutoTurn) is a plus but not required
  • The ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A successful evaluation of a motor vehicle record (MVR) check and a commitment to maintaining a safe driving record
