The Dishwasher is a vital team member in our restaurant, responsible for ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for our guests. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Dishwasher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen and service wares, including dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized dish area, including the dish machine, storage areas, and janitorial supplies.
- Operate the dish machine in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning walls and surfaces.
- Keep storage areas for all service and cooking equipment clean and organized, ensuring easy access for team members.
- Ensure the proper levels for temperature and chemicals in the dish machine are maintained, adhering to health code and sanitation standards.
- Empty trash from the dish room and place in dumpster, maintaining a clean and organized dumpster area.
- Maintain all walkways inside and outside the restaurant, including cleaning and polishing surfaces.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies, adhering to company standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager, including cleaning up spills, and removing empty bottles and trash.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Able to smile and interact in a genuinely energetic and warm manner towards guests and co-workers.
