Funky Buddha Management LLC is a rapidly expanding brewery seeking a part-time Dishware Attendant to join its team in Oakland Park, Florida. Established in 2010, our brewpub has gained recognition for pushing the boundaries of traditional brewing methods with culinary-inspired recipes utilizing all-natural ingredients.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of sanitation in the kitchen, dish washing area, and back region. This includes ensuring that all equipment is clean and well-maintained, as well as sweeping and mopping floors. Additionally, the individual will be required to wash dishes, flatware, and kitchen vessels, and assist with food preparation when necessary.

  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and washing up.
  • Collect and remove trash from all areas of the operation, following established procedures.
  • Dispose of waste according to brewery and local authority standards.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down service areas for special functions.
  • Clean stoves, ovens, grills, refrigerators, and other equipment using cleaning solutions and brushes.
  • Wash utensils, pots, pans, and trays by hand, using cleaning detergents.
  • Transport food supplies from the storeroom or freezer to the kitchen, and return surplus food to storage.
  • May assist with food preparation, such as blending soups, washing vegetables, etc.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate must be at least 21 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
