Carpenter

Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Carpenter to join our team in the Destrehan, LA area. As a Journeyman Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, fabricating, installing, and dismantling form work of fixtures made of metal, wood, and other materials.

• Read and interpret instructions and documents to plan and perform work activities independently.
• Construct, fabricate, install, and dismantle form work of fixtures made of metal, wood, and other materials.
• Perform all duties safely and follow all company safety procedures.

• Constant standing, walking, reaching, crawling, balancing, and grasping.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, climbing, stooping/crouching, and kneeling.
• Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested.
• All aspects of vision are required - acuity, depth perception, and field of vision.
• Ability to talk and hear is very important for communication with supervisor and co-workers on safety and operational matters.

Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 5 years of Journeyman level Carpenter experience at meets or exceeds performance expectations.
