Carpenter Specialist

Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Carpenter to join our team in the Destrehan, LA area.

We are looking for a qualified candidate who can perform a variety of tasks related to carpentry, including construction, fabrication, installation, and dismantling of form work, fixtures, and other accessories. The ideal candidate will have excellent reading and interpretation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and document their work activities.

• Construct, fabricate, install, and dismantle form work, fixtures, and other accessories
• Read and interpret instructions and documents
• Perform work activities independently and document them
• Work safely and follow all company safety procedures

• Constant standing, walking, reaching, crawling, balancing, and grasping
• Frequent lifting, carrying, climbing, stooping/crouching, and kneeling
• Lifting up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds with assistance
• Excellent vision, including acuity, depth perception, and field of vision
• Ability to talk and hear for communication with supervisor and co-workers

Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 5 years of Journeyman level Carpenter experience and a track record of meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
