Civil Engineer Water Quality Specialist

At Ackerman Estvold, we are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer Water Quality Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex water quality projects across multiple disciplines. Your expertise in civil engineering and water quality will enable you to provide innovative solutions to our clients, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
Manage small to mid-size projects, client and contractor agreements and budgets
Write and prepare technical engineering reports, plans and specifications for projects
Consult with clients to plan and develop strategies for their civil engineering design and support needs
Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and tests to plan and design projects
Evaluate designs to determine project feasibility, estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, and labor requirements
Assist with construction inspection of project sites to monitor progress and ensure design specifications are met
Engineering design for site-civil infrastructure elements
Mentor other engineers and designers

Requirements:
PE Certification and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar field
8+ years of successful design and consulting experience within Civil Engineering
Understanding of Surveying preferred
Strong technical skills and experience using Autodesk Civil 3D, XP-SWMM, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, StormCAD and other related programs
Self-starter with excellent communication and teamwork skills
