Job Title: Professional Engineer - Stormwater Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Engineer to join our team as a Stormwater Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in land development in Florida, Georgia, or Alabama and be licensed as a Professional Engineer in one of these states.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fulfill requirements as Engineer of Record for the design, permitting, and construction administration of projects.
- Prepare accurate presentation, design, details, and construction documents.
- Oversee project design teams, including engineers, designers, consultants, and clients.
- Collaborate with other firm engineers, architects, disciplines, project managers, and business development teams.
- Research, interpret, and implement relevant codes and client requirements.
- Develop, implement, and utilize CPH and client standards and templates.
- Prepare specifications, review shop drawings, and provide construction administration support as Engineer of Record.
- Periodically travel for business development, project management, site investigations, and construction observation.
- Assist with compiling construction plans from all disciplines and submitting them to agencies with jurisdiction.
- Oversee and mentor project engineers, designers, and technicians.
- Review documents prepared by others and implement project quality control.

Requirements:

- B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a P.E. License in the state of Florida.
- Ability to obtain additional state licensure through reciprocity is a plus.
- 5+ years of US experience in design and permitting public or private projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Thorough understanding of project process from concept through construction.
- Ability to consistently exercise good independent judgment in evaluation and determination of design solutions.
- Stormwater management, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection system design experience.
- Effective in providing instruction, teaching, and mentoring in a positive and constructive manner.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Superior social, communication, written, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
- Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
