About the Role

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Prima CARE, P.C. This is a per diem opportunity that requires a knowledgeable and experienced professional to obtain high-quality x-ray images of patients via radiographic imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow physician's orders to determine which areas of the patient's body need imaging.
  • Clearly explain instructions and direct patients during the exam, addressing their individual needs.
  • Correctly position patients and operate imaging equipment safely and appropriately.
  • Practice radiation protocol safety according to ALARA principles.
  • Follow proper imaging techniques and procedures.
  • Keep accurate patient records.
  • Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs, and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Requirements and Skills
  • Associate degree in a related field.
  • Valid MA Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current BLS for healthcare provider certification.
  • CPR or CPR/AED certification.
