The Field Service Technician will be responsible for traveling to client locations to perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of audio-visual systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical challenges related to AV systems, including connectivity issues.
- Provide technical assistance and training to clients on the use and functionality of AV equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of AV systems to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
- Assist in documenting service procedures and related activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet project timelines and deliver exceptional service to clients.
Qualifications for Success:
- Experience in servicing or installing AV systems.
- Strong technical skills with a capacity to learn new technologies and basic troubleshooting methods.
- Proficiency in loading and modifying code and DSP files, including Crestron, BIAMP, and Q-SYS.
- Ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated, and make informed decisions focused on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites.
- CTS Certification is preferred, but relevant experience may be considered. Additional industry certifications or training (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure) are advantageous.
