Your Role

As a Material Handler at CEVA Logistics, you will be responsible for executing essential operational processes in a safe and efficient warehouse environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Serving as a lead to staff and providing work direction
  • Performing complex operations, including forklift requirements
  • Coordinating receipts, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products
  • Operating hand tools to close or open bales, build or tear down crates, and other containers or material
  • Completing or verifying appropriate forms, documents, labels, and other information to ensure accuracy of inventory
  • Overseeing various warehouse maintenance tasks and identifying potential operational or service concerns
  • Preparing and assembling orders, picking and counting material, moving and loading materials between operations or trucks
What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Material Handler with a strong background in warehousing and logistics. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least five years of warehousing or related logistics experience
  • Forklift Certification (typically required within 3-6 months of hire)
  • Valid state-issued driver's license (preferred)
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools, including hand truck, pallet jack, and related warehouse equipment
  • Basic proficiency in Internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications
  • Ability to prioritize and assign work, provide training and guidance to staff, and respond promptly and professionally to customer needs
