Job Overview

Soliant Health is seeking a skilled pharmacist to join our team at a top-rated hospital in southern California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to work as an overnight pharmacist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Reads, interprets, and verifies physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Assesses medication orders and prepares and distributes drugs to patients, ensuring optimal formulary compliance.
  • Accurately prepares and dispenses extemporaneous preparations and controlled substances.
  • Collaborates with other team members to provide effective patient care and implements appropriate age-related therapy and pharmacokinetics dosing.
  • Participates in clinical rounds and meetings to promote patient care and provide understanding and optimal drug therapy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years of pharmacy experience required.
  • Recent inpatient clinical pharmacy experience and residency is a plus.
