Job Description

Job Summary:

TruGreen is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager Trainee to join our team. As a General Manager Trainee, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales and service professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume leadership of a branch management team and promote positive employee relations.
  • Review financial reports to develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of branch sales and marketing strategies to attain revenue goals.
  • Develop basic competencies in all branch job roles, processes, and detailed sales and service functions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable occupational, health, and safety regulations and laws.
  • Develop and execute plans for the efficient use of staffing, materials, and equipment to provide quality service to customers.
  • Review and monitor production costs and product quality; identify deficiencies and implement improvements.
  • Recruit, interview, and select staff to efficiently and effectively operate the business in sales and service to new and existing customers.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to manage and evaluate staff performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of business operations management experience required.
  • Supervisory management and profit & loss experience required.
  • Sales and/or sales management experience preferred.
  • Experience in lawn care/horticulture, agronomics, or a related service industry preferred.
  • Valid, permanent driver's license from state of residence and a clean driving record per company standards required.

Working Conditions:

  • Subject to outdoor weather conditions which may include extreme cold, extreme heat, or wet conditions.
  • Subject to exposure to animals and insects.

Pay Ranges:

$57, $96,220.00

This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law.
