As a temporary Audiologist Cfy at Kaiser Permanente, you will work under the direct supervision of the Audiology Coordinator to provide diagnostic evaluation of the auditory and vestibular systems. You will assess the neurological status of adults and children, and provide direction and counseling on hearing loss prevention, habilitation, and/or rehabilitation services related to identified audio-vestibular disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic evaluations of hearing and balance problems under the direct supervision of the Audiology Coordinator.
Provide direction and counseling on hearing loss prevention, habilitation, and/or rehabilitation services related to identified audio-vestibular disorders.
Determine whether severely hearing-impaired patients are candidates for cochlear implant surgery under the direct supervision of the Audiology Coordinator.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required.
Completion of three (3) years in a doctoral level audiology program or two (2) years in an accelerated doctoral level audiology program required.
Audiology Required Professional Experience License - Temporary (California) required at hire.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
