Breast Ultrasound Technologist Position

We are seeking a skilled Breast Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sonography and be able to perform high-quality ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound procedures on patients, including preparing patients for the exam, explaining the procedure, and positioning patients for the exam.
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and ensure the technical quality of the images.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, and perform quality assurance on the ultrasound equipment.
  • Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
  • Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, and adhere to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Sonography Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Registered Sonographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-S) or a related registry.
