About the Role

This is an hourly/wage position that requires a high level of technical expertise and hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical systems repair, carpentry, and electrical repairs. As a Senior Range Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and repairing target mechanisms, towers, vegetation, and electrical facilities within authorized maintenance levels.
  • Performing operator/repair maintenance on assigned equipment, including tractors, weed eaters, chainsaws, batteries, and associated equipment.
  • Ensuring a significant number of target mechanisms on each range are operational and performing repairs as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Able to repair electrical and mechanical systems on target mechanisms assigned.
  • Ability to perform carpentry and electrical repairs.
  • Ability to repair some computerized components.
  • Ability to operate a computer terminal.
  • Ability to perform operator maintenance on tractors, weed eaters, chainsaws, and some limited repair.
  • Ability to read and write.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working on a range is highly desirable.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between $40,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Benefits

This is an hourly/wage position that does not include benefits. Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than an average of 29 hours a week and are limited to working 1500 hours in a year.
