About the Role

We Are 5 Values is seeking a highly skilled FPGA Prototyping Engineer to join our team in Austin, Texas. As a Staff-level FPGA Prototyping Engineer, you will play a vital role in the development of our FPGA emulation platform, taking pre-silicon verification, validation, and software development to the next level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver FPGA emulation platforms with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop FPGA models for digital and analog blocks.
  • Collaborate with software teams to deliver advanced prototyping capabilities.
  • Develop automated methodologies to enhance scalability.
  • Gather requirements to architect new emulation platform features.
Requirements
  • Strong and proven experience in FPGA prototyping and emulation in the Semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with techniques like Logic Synthesis and Place & Route using tools like Vivado.
  • Good understanding of timing topics such as Clock Domain Crossing and Static Timing Analysis.
  • Bonus: Xilinx Ultrascale, Lab Testing, Scripting Languages, Version Control, Jenkins, Embedded C, PCB knowledge, Chip integration.
