HRT LLC is seeking a highly skilled FPGA Verification Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software tools in C++ and Python to monitor and control low-latency blended hardware and software trading systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software tools in C++ and Python to monitor and control low-latency blended hardware and software trading systems (50% of time)
  • Design, develop, test, and modify field-programmable gate array (FPGA) applications software for financial trading systems (15% of time)
  • Apply and utilize advanced computational modeling and other sophisticated software engineering methods to enhance trading platform and hardware (15% of time)
  • Utilize C++, Python, and Linux scripting programming to develop scalable data storage and distribution systems (5% of time)
  • Troubleshoot systems in FPGA software and hardware to resolve operational issues (5% of time)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in a related position or as a Design Verification Engineer
  • Experience developing and maintaining software tools in C++ and Python to automate parts of the engineering workflow
  • Experience identifying root-cause issues and implementing hardware verification components
  • Experience debugging and troubleshooting hardware design using Verdi waveform tool, software, and hardware to resolve operational issues
  • Experience debugging failures and resolving operational issues in testbench using INDAGO debug and simulation software

Salary Range

$135,000 - $185,000
