Job Summary

  • The Physical Therapist is accountable for organizing and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy programs in the hospital, outpatient services, and outreach sites to restore function and prevent disability.
  • Helping patients reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic and Benedictine heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion, and stewardship.
  • Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Religious Directives.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
