We are seeking a skilled Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our team at Heart of Texas Veterinary ER & Specialty Center in Round Rock, TX. As a key member of our emergency and specialty care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of animal-health duties, including triage, patient monitoring, venipuncture, and patient recovery.
- Assist in veterinary medical procedures, including emergency, critical care, surgical, and laboratory techniques.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed during stressful situations.
- At least 3 years of recent experience in veterinary practice.
- Ability to perform routine veterinary medical procedures and provide patient care.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and veterinarians.
- High school diploma or GED required; veterinary technician license preferred.
