Job Summary:

Mortenson is seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team for the Hart Wind Project. As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for installing and assembling structural steel components, including wind turbine towers, foundations, and other related structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and assemble structural steel components, including wind turbine towers, foundations, and other related structures
  • Mark, position, and secure structural steel members to reinforce concrete or building structures
  • Inspect and test structural steel components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the project manager

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in ironworking or a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials
