Residential Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Advisor to join our team at Odle Management. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing safe, supportive, and predictable environments for our trainees in their daily activities.

• Supervise and Monitor Trainees: Provide daily supervision to students age 16-24 to ensure good order and discipline are maintained in the dormitory.
• Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure that dormitories are always a clean and safe environment, and that all rules, policies, and procedures are followed by residents.
• Assist with Student Development: Assist students in adjusting to Center life by providing supervision, behavior modification, and acting as a mentor.
• Ensure Student Accountability: Maintain 100% accountability of all residents and logbook entries for any significant events that occur during their shift.
• Facilitate Group Discussions: Facilitate groups in life skills, including budgeting, renter's rights, completing a lease, completing chores, etc.
• Document Student Records: Document student records according to PRH, inputting all relevant student data.
• Prepare Reports: Prepare applicable reports to ensure accurate documentation of student progress.
• Maintain Dormitory Facilities: Ensure that dorms are always clean and inspection ready, and that all equipment and facilities are clean and maintained in accordance with center, Odle, and DOL standards.

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer two years' experience in a related field such as counseling, education, social work, rehabilitation, or vocational guidance.
• Skills: Ability to effectively relate to trainee population, inspire and motivate staff and students, strong management skills, ability to handle multiple priorities, and excellent communication skills.

This is a split shift position, with varying schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The employer of record for this position is Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc. DBA Eckerd Connects, which assigns employees to Odle Management Group, LLC.
