About the Role

Carrabba's Italian Grill is seeking a highly skilled and organized Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Pre-Service Preparation: Help the opening crew prepare for the day by setting up the kitchen, checking inventory, and reviewing the daily sanitation checklist.
  • Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee the flow of tickets, ensure good cook times, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor Kitchen Equipment: Check the temperatures of the freezer, dish machine, and refrigeration units to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Conduct Daily Sanitation Checks: Review the daily sanitation checklist and conduct the necessary checks to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Manage Inventory: Review inventory on a daily basis to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to maintain our high standards of food quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a kitchen supervisor or assistant manager
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
