Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Host-Cashier to join our team at Golden Nugget Hotels & Casinos. As a Host-Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for presenting exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude, engage with guests to anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to any inquiries or concerns.
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Point of Sale: Handle guest complaints or issues professionally, and bring them to the manager when necessary. Guide guests to their tables and present them with menus. Take to-go orders over the phone and in person.
  • Operational Efficiency: Provide highchairs and other requested items to the guest. Responsible for point of sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or other proper forms of payment for food and beverage orders.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
  • Skills: Organizational skills, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude, ability to multitask, and availability on weekdays, weekends, nights, mornings, and holidays.
  • Education: Must be able to read and write in English and handle math calculations.
