The Client Relationship Specialist is tasked with delivering exceptional customer service and responsiveness while providing consultative support to ensure that both internal and external clients' needs are effectively addressed. This role involves the efficient and timely execution of moderate to complex transactions and services, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently open and process various types of deposit accounts and consumer lending transactions.
  • Educate clients on products and services, making appropriate referrals and cross-selling opportunities that align with their needs.
  • Engage with clients in person or via telephone to provide tailored solutions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in related banking roles is preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service, sales, and consumer lending is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong reading, writing, communication, and mathematical abilities.
  • Basic understanding of Decision Pro, Loan-to-Value, Debt-to-Income calculations, and credit report analysis.
  • Proficient in identifying and analyzing situations to resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer relations skills, including problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong computer proficiency.

Unique Job Characteristics:

Develop comprehensive knowledge of consumer lending in preparation for NMLS Certification under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008, familiarizing oneself with the necessary approval requirements.

Core Duties:

  • Process daily transactions and general customer account servicing duties with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency, including routine and non-routine teller transactions.
  • Provide a consultative approach to customer service, ensuring a clear understanding of client needs and delivering viable solutions.
  • Conduct sales and service calls to both existing and potential clients to meet their needs and generate new sales leads.
  • Take ownership of resolving customer issues and complaints while ensuring high levels of responsiveness and satisfaction.
  • Participate in community events that support the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include training and guiding other employees.

  • Ability to bend, twist, crouch, and squat.
