Support for Clinical Fellows:

Job Responsibilities:

We are in search of a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with a partner school that serves students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional ready to join our speech therapy team on a full-time basis.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering year-round services to students through direct and small group sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to improve communication skills.
  • Creating and implementing treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of students.
  • Developing and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with specific, measurable goals for each student.
  • Providing training on essential life skills for students nearing graduation.
  • Utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and strategies, including communication boards and speech-generating devices, as appropriate.
  • Collaborating with colleagues by participating in team meetings with service providers, Special Education teachers, and BCBAs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in school-based settings and/or working with pediatric populations.
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid SLP license from the Maryland Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
