About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Tech to join our team at Ashley Regional Medical Center. As a Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during operations
  • Prepare the operating suite with necessary equipment and supplies
  • Ensure good working order of equipment and instruments
  • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and draping
  • Pass instruments to physicians during surgery
  • Continually account for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery
  • Assist with maintaining patient rooms and common areas

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in surgery and/or medical services preferred
  • Graduate of Surgical Tech Program preferred
  • BLS certification within 6 months
