Salary: The typical pay range for this role is $18.50 - $35.29 per hour, depending on experience and location.
About the Role:
The Delivery Driver Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of delivery operations. As a liaison between long-term care facilities and delivery staff, you will train transport personnel, coordinate work schedules and delivery routes, and monitor workflow to analyze patterns and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train all transportation personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties efficiently.
- Coordinate work schedules and delivery routes to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
- Monitor workflow to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and supplies to long-term care facilities or patients' homes.
- Conduct routine staff meetings to communicate important information and address concerns.
- Maintain vehicles in good condition to comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA, and adhere to the company's code of conduct.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- The ability to use routing software and navigate complex delivery routes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- The ability to concentrate on tasks over an extended period without being distracted.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
