About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Cloud Architect to join our IST Development team in Toronto, Canada. This position will work with our Application Architect and developers to move our development and delivery process to a new CI/CD model in line with the strategy to move applications to cloud environments and support the CI/CD process moving forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Defining and implementing a new DevOps CI/CD strategy for the group as we move to a cloud-based solution with agile development.
  • Supporting and improving the CI/CD process as the product and development team mature in the cloud.
  • Developing and improving CI/CD process in Jenkins.
  • Supporting development, service delivery, and implementation teams that adopt DevOps pipelines.
  • Integrating security scans into the CI processes.
  • Developing and maintaining deployment automations.
  • Working with development and QA teams on design and integrate efforts into the DevOps pipeline.
  • Migrating and managing source in Bitbucket.
  • Scripting interfaces and integration between SDLC tools including JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, AKS, OpenShift, using REST and other available integration interfaces.
  • Creating and supporting advanced Docker files.
  • Implementing deployments to Microsoft AKS and OpenShift Container Platform.
  • Troubleshooting containerized builds and deployments.
  • Assisting team onboarding IST applications onto the AKS and OpenShift.
