Model Based Systems Engineer

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Model Based Systems Engineer to provide support to the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) J56 Division. The selected candidate will assist in the stand up and capture of Mission Execution and Planning processes in the CAMEO modeling tool set.
Key Responsibilities- Model Development: Create and maintain a robust Cameo Model of the Nuclear Planning and execution Process to include Activity Models, on the Secret Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (SIPRNET), Top Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (TS), and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS) enclaves.
- Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain clear communication with stakeholders (Functional Managers, Program Office & Requirement Management Team (RMT) Leads) on model progression. Collaborate with operational users to develop activity models and translate operational requirements into MBSE elements.
- Project Management: Collaborate with Integrated Master Project (IMS) Lead to evaluate and prioritize capabilities and requirements. Monitor project progress, deadlines, anticipate delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 14 years of experience or 18 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Clearance: TS Clearance, ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Agile project management tools including Jira and Confluence. Experience with Modeling Tools. Experience with Cameo Modeling Tool a Plus. Experience with MS Project.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline. SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
