Advanced Heart Failure Specialist

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine is seeking a talented faculty member to join our esteemed Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant group. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with heart failure, as well as pre- and post-transplant and LVAD care. Your clinical expertise will be complemented by active participation in clinical research programs and teaching with cardiology fellows and medical house staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical service in outpatient clinics and on inpatient units
- Participate in clinical research programs
- Teach cardiology fellows and medical house staff
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and be board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine and board certified or eligible in Advanced Heart Failure. Rank and tenure status will be determined depending upon qualifications.
