We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals at Sunrise Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care during surgical procedures
  • Act as a patient advocate, reviewing operative permits to ensure correctness of procedure
  • Supervise the care of the OR suite and equipment to ensure cleanliness, sterility, and operation
  • Prepare patients physically, mentally, and emotionally for surgical procedures
  • Verify patient identification and maintain awareness of OR schedules to ensure timely turnover of rooms
  • Assist anesthesia providers as required and document patient records
Requirements
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an acute care OR setting or surgical center
  • ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association
