Frye Regional Medical Center is a 355-bed acute care hospital and 81-bed Behavioral Health facility, providing a range of inpatient and outpatient care services to the community.

Job Summary

Under the guidance of physicians/providers, performs diagnostic ultra sonographic procedures, providing patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receives patients, explains procedure, and ensures patient comfort.
  • Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures.
  • Maintains equipment and supplies, and organizes work area.
  • Keeps accurate records and helps with scheduling of ultrasound exams.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required.
