Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Altru Health team as a Registration Eligible Dietitian. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will actively support multiple specialty units, engage in performance improvement projects, and assist in the delivery of comprehensive training and nutrition education. You will interact with a wide spectrum of individuals and groups, fostering collaboration within the team and partnering on research initiatives to enhance nutrition approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Registered Dietitian to ensure seamless coordination and effective nutrition support.
• Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian for necessary approvals and sign-offs.
• Actively participate in performance improvement projects related to nutrition and patient care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals, administrators, and support staff.
• Educate patients and their family members as needed to enhance their understanding of nutrition and health.
• Partner on research initiatives related to nutrition and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Registration Eligible Dietitian certification from the North Dakota Board of Dietetic Practice (NDBODP) prior to start date.
• Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months of start date.
• Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

Working Conditions:

• This position requires occasional driving, and the ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently.
• The physical demands of this role include handling, seeing, and hearing continuously, and lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• The working conditions are primarily indoor, with occasional outdoor activities.
