Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Transportation Systems Engineer to join our team at Selectek. This role is crucial for enhancing our traffic engineering capabilities and ensuring the successful execution of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced and specialized engineering and planning tasks that require independent decision-making.
- Foster and maintain client relationships to ensure project success.
- Develop and oversee proposals and budgets for various projects.
- Lead and coordinate the efforts of junior engineers on complex assignments.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Present findings and information to public agencies, review boards, and community organizations.
- Participate in internal committees to support the company's strategic objectives.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by Principal Associates.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Planning, or equivalent professional experience.
- Possession of a P.E. License or AICP Certification.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning.
- Proven project management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience in public speaking and presentations.
- Proficiency in traffic analysis software (HCS, Synchro, VISSIM preferred).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in training and mentoring junior staff.
- Familiarity with consulting practices.
- Valid driver’s license and access to personal transportation.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.

Location:

Compensation:
$50-$58/hr.
