About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Municipal Attorney to join our team at Jesica. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert legal support and guidance to our clients, representing public entities in court and handling a range of legal matters.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support to clients
  • Represent clients in court, including code enforcement cases and civil litigation
  • Develop and implement strategies to resolve client cases in a favorable and cost-effective manner
  • Communicate with clients to understand their legal concerns and needs
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation and its impact on our clients
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including dispositions, pleadings, and contracts

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on municipal law and litigation
  • Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
