Negotiator (Personal Injury)

Position Overview:
The Personal Injury Negotiator will be responsible for handling a high volume of personal injury cases from start to settlement. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of negotiating claims with insurance companies, as well as a deep understanding of personal injury processes and legal principles. Spanish language skills are highly desirable to serve our diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a personal injury caseload and oversee each case’s progress from initial intake through settlement
Conduct thorough case investigations, including reviewing medical records, police reports, and client statements
Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters to achieve the best possible outcome for clients
Provide clear, compassionate, and consistent communication to clients regarding case progress and expectations
Prepare detailed documentation to support claims, including settlement demands and summaries
Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure seamless case management
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in personal injury negotiations or claims adjustment, preferably with a focus on settlement negotiations
Education: Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or a related field preferred, though relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
Skills: Strong negotiation skills, excellent verbal and written communication, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional organizational abilities
Language: Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus, as it allows better support of our Spanish-speaking clients
